Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is a way to modelling one-inflated data using glmmTMB or any other TMB function? I am aware about the zero inflation modelling using such functions, but the case I am working on is with one-inflation.
Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Allison

Hi Allison,

Can you post this as an issue on the glmmTMB issues list
<https://github.com/glmmTMB/glmmTMB/issues> ? (This Cross-Validated
post suggests that VGAM::vglm() can handle one-inflated Poisson models ...)

https://stats.stackexchange.com/questions/90817/why-are-there-no-one-inflated-count-data-models

It *might* be possible to hack/hijack the ziformula machinery to
handle one-inflation (not with the package as it exists, but maybe
without adding too much additional code to the model ...)

cheers

Hi Ben!
Thank you very for your reply.
I have found a way using the gamlss package with the family BEOI() just in case someone wants to explore it a little more.

Best regards,
Allison
