How to get the http link for a local tmate session

I got everything installed to have my own local version of tmate.
The Basics work correctly, tmate-slave accepts connection from tmate and
I'm able to ssh to the session, but I'm missing the http link that I get
when I use the "ssh.tmate.io" address as my host.

I installed the tmate-master but I can't figure out how to link a tmate
session to it.
The only thing I found related to http/web are webhooks and from what
I understood from the github wiki it is not used by the http link that
tmate.io adds.

Does anyone has already tackled this problem or has a solution?

you'll need to run tmate-proxy

but it's lacking documentation, be ready for long sessions of figuring stuff out

Ok. I installed the tmate-proxy but how to use it?
I nerver used Elixir before so I'm not fluent on how to use this kind of code...

I assume that the proxy will be the message broker between a tmate session and
the http backend.

you can run the proxy with "iex --sname proxy -S mix" and the master with "iex --sname master -S mix phoenix.server" on a dev machine.

If you're using tmate, you can display the available session URLs with:

tmate show-messages

This typically shows both the SSH connection string and the HTTP/HTTPS web client link (if web access is enabled). You can also check the environment variables or run:

tmate display -p '#{tmate_web}'

to print the web URL directly.
