I've been using tmate for a while now and I’m really happy with it - thank you for providing such a great tool!
Since yesterday (June 10, 2025), I’ve been experiencing issues with the remote connection. Despite the remote device being online and tmate running on it, I haven’t been able to connect.
I’ve tried different servers (lon1, nyc1, etc.), but I keep encountering various error messages, such as:
kex_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host
The session has moved to another server. Use the following to connect
(but it points to the same server)
The session host disconnected 5 days ago
Internal error
Connection to nyc1.tmate.io closed by remote host
Connection to nyc1.tmate.io closed
Are you aware of any ongoing issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just to clarify, are you planning to take the servers down permanently or is this just a temporary move?
I’ve been actively using tmate and truly appreciate how valuable it is. It's an excellent tool that's made a real difference and it would be a real shame to lose access to it.
