About the Israel Jazz Orchestra

The Israel Jazz Orchestra was founded 20 years ago to gather Israel's top musicians into one creative and fruitful environment of composers, arrangers and unique instrumentalists that make the band’s special sound. The Orchestra uses a similar structure to the classic big band but pours into it a variety of musical styles and colors.

The Orchestra's performance is a thrilling and hypnotizing event, there’s never a dull moment with 12 virtuoso musicians on stage showing off their abilities, including:

Yair Slutzki, Yoav Trifman – trombone
Arthur Krasnobaev, Yuval Peleg – trumpet
Alon Farber, Tal Varon, Dean Tsur, Yuval Tabachnik – saxophone
Guy Kaira – guitar
Itamar Gross – keyboards
Mickey Warshai – double bass
Ron Almog – drums
Maya Belsitzman – cello

About the Tel Aviv Arts Council

Young Patrons of the Arts Celebrating Israeli Creative Culture

The Tel Aviv Arts Council celebrates the creative culture of Israel by providing a venue for young creatives and lovers of the arts to gather while attending lectures and demonstrations by world class artists, performers, and technologists.

The common theme in our events is a playful exploration of the world around us and the search for something unique that expands our vistas and leaves one with a sense of wonder. All of our private events are non-profit, but professionally produced to provide attendees with a comfortable environment to engage with the arts community, and take place in various venues throughout our great city.
