Hello Team,

I am just getting started with reaper.
Pardon me as this might be a simple question

I was going through the documentation of reaper. I am somehow unable to visualise the below concept

Segment Coalescing:

Reaper’s repairs will now group together all token ranges that share the same replicas into common segments.

let us consider [0-10) is a token range on one of the nodes. Repliaction factor 3.
so [0-10) will have replicas on other 2 nodes.
 Earlier [0-10) was part of a segment in reaper....

From here I am unable to relate to the line
"Reaper will group together all the the token ranges that share same replicas into common segments"

does same replica means , replica nodes

let me quote another example:

let [0-10) [50-60) [120-130) on Host1(say) , all these primary token ranges have replicas placed on host  Host4 and Host5.
Hence these token ranges will be clubbed together into a segment.
Is it so?

Please do correct me if I am wrong

Thanks
