Grew this last summer in a container along with other annuals. It bloomed all summer, even thru some of our heavy frosts in the fall. It was loaded with buds in late Nov. when I put it in the cold garage. Found it again this year at my garden ctr.
I wrote about Day in Forbes Magazine last fall. She started her career in Hollywood as an actress, but when she found herself getting typecast as the "quirky secretary," she took her career into her own hands. In 2007 Day wrote, produced and starred in The Guild, a web series about online gamers. Five seasons later, it's been seen over 150 million times.
Geek & Sundry's initial programming line-up features The Flog, a weekly video blog hosted by Day; Dark Horse Motion Comics, which will feature animated stories from indie publisher Dark Horse Comics, featuring franchises such as Hellboy and The Umbrella Academy; TableTop, where geeky celebs square off to play tabletop games, hosted by actor Wil Wheaton; Sword & Laser, a sci-fi/fantasy book club hosted by Veronica Belmont and Tom Merritt; and Season 5 of Day's own series The Guild, which debuted last fall, but which will run on YouTube with new behind the scenes content.
