Yes, OVM 5 version is not stable and not final release yet, but we need exactly Debian 10 to get installed freeipa-client without any hacks and testing/unstable repos.
Stable freeipa-client package now is available only in Debian 10 Buster:

Whats the best method of performing this upgrade. If I install the default version of freeipa on CentOS 9 it's currently 4.11 and not sure if I can just add these into the current pool with a higher version number or not.
I know how to configure samba to use an existing AD domain for a domain-joined GNU/Linux host but that's not what I'm doing here. My host this time is the freeipa domain controller, but I might make a freeipa client my file server.I have nfs for the other Linux hosts, but my quick search on "nfs windows" didn't show anything that would be any better/easier than my desired goal here.
