Folks:

When I raised money for the TLDA it was not my intention it be squandered.  From the conversations I have seen online I speculate any monies raised are gone.  Up in smoke.  I'm speculating - but - I know Brad well and I'm certain the funds have been redirected into his pocket considering his circumstances.

Why?

Bradley Thornton lost his business.  His inventory was seized by the local sheriffs department in San Bernadino California.  This is now the third time a business venture of Brads has gone tits up.  Next - he'll be loosing the home his father left him.

He basically can't pay his bills.  The people who he purchased the business from he never paid in accordance with the agreement he made with them.  It's very sad.  They basically lost their retirement because of this.

Since Brad has gotten into te habit of calling me a liar I present the facts.  To confirm what I have said you only have to call the Court Clerk in Joshua Tree California (760) 366-5770 and ask for file no. CIV MS 800330.  Or you can call Sergeant Waitfchies in San Bernadino California (909) 387-5836 and ask for file no. CIV MS 800330 / 09-6872 to confirm the seizure.  The title of the court action is Mistal v. Thornton.

Or you can call Brads store at (760) 365-6100 and listen to the recorded announcement.

Basically Brad failed to pay the people he purchased the store from.  Brad sold all the inventory.  Spent all the money and left them with nothing.

That means Brad is hurtin real bad.and I would not be surprised the 140 or so bucks that were contributed are long gone.  Petty theft.  Not really worth while pursuing.

My only hope is that he spent the money on food for himself and his little girl and not on ganga, which is most likely the case.

Now - to prove this all any director has to do is demand a copy of the bank and paypal statement of activity.  Thats all monies deposited and paid out from either account.  It's your right as a director to have this information sent to you privately.

I see Karl and Brad playing a game of ping pong - your cheque is in the mail - but we haveno bananas today.

David.  Please hold on to Hugh's cheque and ask him what he wants you to do with it.  I don't think any cheques should be sent to brad until the directors review the accounts.  It's not going to benefit the organization.

And Gene Marsh - el president in charge - I would like you to dig into your pocket and repay David Scott what he is owed.  Gene - this happened on your watch.  Your responsible for this travesty.  Your the fool who wanted the hot seat.  Now take some initiative before this organization gets labeled a stable of deadbeats.

This is now the second time a director has stolen money.  First it was karl - now it is brad.  Very sad state of affairs.

Sorry Joe,

if I am asking something stupid but we europeans are not so fluent in
some details.

I know ganga as a native name for the Hindu mother the River Ganges
a most holy place in India.

As it can not mean the money has gone down the river that might be
seen as an offense does it mean it has become holy smoke like in
burning incense?

So after all only the ashes have been sent down the River Ganges
in order to honor the Buddha and the goddes Ganga for good fortune
and washing away sins.

Oh dear, let's hope for good fortune.

Ganga in north america is a reference to marijuana, also known as mary jane, pot, or wacki tobbaki.

Now I want to make sure you understand - I don't think Bradley smoking marijuana is a bad thing or evil or anything bad.  I myself have smoked it from time to time.  And unlike the former U.S. president Clinton who smoked it too I do inhale.

I am also a strong supporter of marijuana for medical applications and was the first to introduce the concept to the Credit Valley Hospital years ago when I was associated with them.  I also was the master of ceremony years ago for one of Toronto biggest pro marijuana rallies.

I only mention it because a man in his financial circumstances should not be spending his money on drugs.  I also think marijuana is bad for brad.  Some people can smoke it and operate but some can't.  Brad is one of those that can't.

And Brad smokes a lot of marijuana.  Marijuana costs money.  Brad smokes about 10 to 20 joints a day which means he's spending about $20 - $40 per day on his habit.  Thats a good $600.00 to $1,200.00 per month that could of been used to pay his bills and keep his sole source of income - the store - alive.

I've spoken to him about this.  I knew Brad owed Ann Mistal the former owner of the store he purchased a lot of money.  And I did suggest to him that he stop smoking the ganga and focus on the business.  Instead Brad kept smoking the ganga and has lost the business, squandered his inheritance, and put two old people into serous financial difficulties who trusted him to be a honest broker.

Common sense is something Brad does not have in abundance when it comes to business.  And this is no surprise to Brad - I have since I first knew brad back in the 1990's lectured him on priorities.  And the ganga smoking always gets in the way of common sense.  Instead of paying an electric bill, brad would rather buy ganga.  Instead of buying food he would rather smoke ganga.  With him it's an addiction.

But the point in all of this is that his current financial circumstance and addiction to ganga may very well explain that fact that David Scott has not been paid the money the association owes him and neither of the two directors in charge nor gene marsh - el presidente - will be able to furnish bank statement.

It's bad when a director pockets the associations cash - like karl did last year.  But at least with karl i know the money ended up buying food for his children.  With brad - i'm not so sure of that and suspect our funds have gone - up in smoke.

Peter - just a follow up - this is the reason why I get so pissed off with brad and his ganja smoking.

This is brads little girl Jennifer.  This little lady ended up homeless and on the streets of California living with Brad in his car - as a result of the last time Brad lost his business.

This little girl is the reason why the ganga smoking has to stop.  Right now brad has one priority - to get a job.
