I think twitter is going to be a very useful tool in keeping the top level domain system clean of scams.

from a technical point of view it's a great way to have a party without even being there. b0ts abound aplenty. i think twitter has the power to break the u.s. government and liberate the root. thats the benefit to us.

my only concern is that twitter is a single point of failure.  if it does not overcome that it may fail.

some smart developer out there might even consider twittering a new client and protocol that P2P a twitter environment there removing the current single point of failure. Management and censor.

already people are considering using it to kill each other.  www.playspymaster.com is one good example.  It's only a war game - but watch out - the virtual gun is always on the horizon - or just around the bend.

if anyone wants to play the playspymaster game - let me know.  I would advise the creation of a separate twitter user to play spymaster in order to ensure you accounts are not compromised.
