Using the TLC5940PWP with Arduino Nano

Does this library work with the PWP version? I connected all the pins by name rather than by number and I can't seem to get anything to work. Some LEDs just light very dimly and that's it.

I'm driving LED strips with n-channel mosfets controlled by the TLC with pull up resistors (all brightness are reversed, so (4095-value) is the actual brightness)

I have quadruple checked all the hardware and it all seems perfect so I'm starting to have doubts with this library working with an Arduino Nano.

Anyone have any insight?
