Remembering Thaslim

Dear All,

Hope you are well and had fantastic X'mas holidays.

I am writing this mail to leave a small thought.
It has been a while since our dearest friend Thaslim Sheikh left us. 
In his remembrance, Haskar, Fazil, Noel & me were discussing about the annual scholarship to the "Best All rounder-EC department" (He is probably the best all rounder we would ever come across in our life).
Can we take this up and go forward?
Also, we may not be able to deposit the money in the bank and take interest as it is against the Islamic law. We have to come up with an idea of how to get recurring money from the deposit in compliance with Islamic laws.
Kindly let us know your ideas and thoughts.

I think first of all make a small plan, documented, probably Renju's father can help us in this case for this.

I dont think Islamic law is going to affect us. As we dont know much about this, its better to ask someone in regards to this, probably who have done this before in our college or some other place. If any one can contact some of our teachers in regards to this, it would be great.

I am sure financial support is not going to be a big problem here, as everyone here are willing to do it.

But first we need someone to take initiative to make a plan, another one to clarify the law & start the banking options. 

We can do it for Thaslim
