Jonna spotted this announcement of a 24h student design challenge. It is part of the OzCHI conference taking place before it so that the prizes include travels to the conference. So, if you want to try your design skills in practice, get to know new people, possibly win some prizes, and definitely get a new experience, then form a group and register to the competition. Jonna is interested in joining a group, so contact her, if you got interested. More information about the challenge below.

By presenting your final design and the process that led to that design to me and professor Nieminen, you can also get 1 cr (T-121.5850) from your work.

Mutta olisiko Aallossa osallistumassa jotain tiimiä tai tiimejä? Allekirjoittanutta voisi kiinnostaa kanssa osallistuminen, kun aikaa tuo vie tuon hyvin rajatun tuntimäärän, mutta kun en oikein tunne ketään muita saman alan opiskelijoita tai tiedä miten heihin saisi yhteyden. Onko jotain muutakin foorumia tai listaa, jolla muita voisi tavoittaa?

If you are an undergraduate, graduate, or research student in the area of human-computer interaction, you may want to take a look at our annual OzCHI 24-hour student design challenge.

SHORT FACTS:
Compete online against other teams from around the world in an exciting 24-hour challenge for a chance to:
- Present your work at the OzCHI 2012 conference in Melbourne, Australia;
