Hi!
There is a very interesting event again arranged by SIGCHI Finland, taking place on January 16th. More details below.
-Petri & Sirpa
Aihe: Vastaus: [sigchi.fi] Event: New Frontiers of HCI Research 16.1.
FYI, the registration is now open, sorry for the non-working link yesterday.
Also, the closing of the event has been extended to 17:30, since one hour for the panel with 5 distinguished panelists would have been a bit short. (The guests arrive only after noon, so we cannot start earlier.)

Subject: Event: New Frontiers of HCI Research 16.1.
We have several Nordic HCI experts in Helsinki on the afternoon of 16.1., so please book your calendars for this seminar!
Human-Computer Interaction as a research field is ever expanding. The traditional focus on making computer use more user-friendly has now broadened towards all kinds of interactive systems, users, and contexts. There is also an increasing concern about the lack of design focus in HCI.
In this seminar, we have a unique chance to hear several Nordic HCI stars presenting their views on the new frontiers of HCI research. These include societal and innovation topics, as well as new application domains of HCI.
