New course in mobile user experience research is starting in two weeks. Enrollment on or before September 17th.
T-121.5850 Understanding the Mobile User Experience 5-8 cr
The course addresses research methods for mobile user experience. The students will design and implement a small mobile user experience study utilizing mobile phones as information gathering tools. The course focuses especially on possibilities to utilize smartphones to follow and measure the activities and opinions of the users. After the course, the students are able to conduct user experience studies as part of product or service development projects.
The course can be taken as either 5 cr or 8 cr. The larger version includes reporting the results of the conducted study as a scientific conference paper.
Schedule
The course consists of weekly meetings and group work. Weekly meetings will be organized during office hours (8-17). The exact meeting times will be decided with course participants.
