Compiple hv3 from scratch

Hi,
I am trying to package tkhtml3 and hv3 for Debian [1]. For this, I
would need to create the binaries from the sources. But, when I
download the source code [2] and run "configure; make" I only get the
widget compiled.
It also looks if linux-gcc.mk and main.mk contain some paths local to
the developers.
What should I do to get the whole hv3 compiled?
