yarn bombing ideas

Hi all,

Just a couple of ideas for yarn-bombing:

• yarn bomb a bike. we could then use it for publicity in a number of places like Riverlink or Cactus Cafe etc if council are OK with that! It could be chained up in the Mall at any rate. Some yarn-bombed bike pics attached. I have a spare bike and a bike rack on the car.
  
• do a yarn-bomb in the form of stepping stones that lead to the entrance to the Community Art Gallery - see the attached pics of an installation by Carol Hummel (or google her) to see what I mean. This could be taken up at night I guess. Many people making stepping stones would be good. Not sure about making it non-slippery and wheelchair accessible etc.
  
• yarn bomb an old satellite dish. Again, this could be a movable installation. I have a spare one of these still with the bracket at to the dish's focal point. OK. So I'm a hoarder. Anyway, the satellite dish is an excellent concave shape and could be a flower - something exotic like a triffid (assuming someone with some knit'crochet talent could do that)
