Friday is a football game, and we are not taking all the props out. We will only have the single truck tomorrow and I hope I can get a few of you to volunteer for tomorrow. Please respond if you can help. Monday is the Rain Date for the Showcase so I will need many volunteers for that. Please let me know if you are available for Monday as well. Thanks

Hello all!
Happy October! Thank you to all that made our Competition on Saturday a success! If you did not hear, the group placed first in their class with a score of 79.1! If you were not able to join us as a chaperone or a member of our Pit Crew, please consider joining us for any of our other performances. The students love seeing their parents and family friends help out with their show that they are so proud of (regardless of the embarrassment that they may and probably will endure). So, please consider helping out or reaching out to our boosters to see if there are ways to help!
Here is the schedule for the rest of the week...
Tuesday, October 5th
- All County Applications Due to Mr. Gasemy - Please reach out to me if you have questions or if you need more details.
Thursday, October 7th
- Marching Band Rehearsal 6-9 PM
Friday, October 8th
- Varsity Football Game vs. South Hagerstown @ Urbana

Halftime - Perform
9:45 PM - Approximate End of Game
10:15 PM - Approximate Departure from UHS
10:45 PM - Approximate Arrival at TJ
11:00 PM - Approximate Dismissal
Saturday, October 9th
- Marching Band Rehearsal 10 AM-7 PM
Monday, October 11th
- FCPS Marching Band Festival

7:05 PM - Perform
7:45 PM - Return to Stadium to watch other shows
9:10 PM - Band Recognition
9:45 PM - Approximate Departure from OHS
10:15 PM - Approximate Arrival at TJ
10:45 PM - Approximate Dismissal
I also want to point out a change to the schedule. The Homecoming Football Game that was scheduled for Saturday, October 30th is now going to be held on Friday, October 29th at 6:30 PM at Frederick High School. Unfortunately, the turf field does not look like it will be done in time for Homecoming. Please get any conflicts turned in via absence form ASAP.
