We replaced our wood inswing casement windows with new Andersen outswing casement windows. We did not order trim and the GC installed as is. We are unhappy with how they look (too flat since they could not recess them.)

I am trying to create a virtual machine that is Spanish so I can test some software.
What I found shows to install windows 10 then change the region display language, etc.
I did this and it is not quite the same as a spanish (Mexican) PC that comes with windows 10 installed.
On the vm I created and set the region display language, etc., there is still some English intermixed.
In addition, when I install Sql Server Express 2014, it automatically sets the collation to SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS.

"No matter how or whether you pay for it, you can download Windows 10(opens in new tab) or download Windows 11(opens in new tab) for free from Microsoft.com. And, in fact, you should only download it from Microsoft, as grabbing it from any other site or from a P2P network could give you malware. Microsoft offers a free media creation tool, which grabs the latest code from the Internet and then burns itself to a USB Flash drive or outputs a Windows 10 or Windows 11 ISO file you can write to a drive yourself. "

I was able to remove a checkbox from the "recommended version" which must have sniffed my English Config and I was able to select to download any Language Version, so I chose Spanish. This gave me the .iso I need.

Starting the Hyper-V installation it gave me a choice of many versions: Home, Professional, N and S etc. I only want to debug my app briefly and then I don't need the Spanish OS anymore. I was able to bypass the "licence-key" entry by just clicking "I don't have a licence key" (in Spanish :)) I can login and use Windows.

Hurricanes are just a fact of life on the Gulf Coast. You may want to consider having impact windows from Majors Home Improvement installed on your Spanish Fort, Alabama, home to protect you from the worst Mother Nature has to throw at you.

My native language is spanish. As I changed the settings from english to spanish (general/language tab and corrections/spelling tab) I see the program does an incomplete job to translate the name of the buttons. Also I havent found a way to use the writing tools in spanish as Scrivener keeps refering me to english language dictionaries

Thanks for your answer.
I did download the spanish dictionary long ago but it only works to check spelling (actually it is quite deficient in this respect as there are many spanish words not included).

Hi friends! Lightship is a powerful tool, for this reason, I created a video tutorial about this platform. In this video, I will show you the installation and setup to create your first Plane Detection app. I worked with windows 10 and android. In the next weeks I will upload more videos about it.

He visto tu video y est muy bien explicado. Gracias.

Do you love your Spanish Style home? Do the charming features make you want to kick back, sangria in hand, in the foilage-adorned courtyard? If you're working on a renovation, or if you're tackling a new build, you'll soon need to choose your preferred window style. But selecting any random window styles can ruin your Spanish home's aesthetic and make it look mismatched and out of place. Instead, let the architectural form guide you in your decision. By doing this, you'll not only complete the look, but you'll avoid curb appeal disaster.

We guide you in your window style decisions when it comes to fitting out your Spanish style home. From majestic and expansive to modest and comfortable, we'll provide the window style to complete your home.

Several architectural styles have Spanish influences, but the common thread is their ability to endure dry and hot temperatures with their thick walls and local insulative materials. Spanish-influenced homes celebrate the cool of the evening with inviting courtyards, outdoor fireplaces, and potted plants. The various Spanish-type architectural styles include Adobe Revival Style, Monterey Revival, Territorial Revival, Pueblo Revival, Mission Revival, and Spanish Colonial Style. These styles do vary in small ways, as does the history and origin.

It's normal for a variety of specialty and casement windows to appear in Spanish-style homes. French casement windows are quintessential for this style, typically in a tall and narrow orientation. Horizontal panes and grilles often extend the full width of the casement window.

Arched framing with ceramic tiles or woodwork is popular with Spanish styles. Iron bars can also be seen in this style for exterior decoration or added security. While practical, decorate features such as scrolls, ball castings, or spear toppings add an elaborate touch to security bars.

Spanish style homes offer the perfect retreat in the heat of summer. By pure design, this architectural style is energy efficient and tolerates humid temperates. You can further insulate your home from the heat and harmful UV rays by opting for high performance insulating glass.

As the name suggests, Spanish, Mediterranean, and Stucco homes are influenced by the region in its descriptive. This ranges from older homes with small windows and large doors topped by arch windows, to new-style Mediterranean homes that have larger windows. This style of architecture is often noted by the exterior stucco material, archways and curves, and ceramic terracotta roofs to deflect the hot sun. Balconies and large circular walk out bow rooms are common features incorporated into these homes. Siding color ranges from white to sand and the roof from red to brown.

Casement windows are a popular operating style in these homes. They can be tall and narrow while standing alone, or come in pairs of two. Tall windows, sometimes arched, are often seen in a walk out bow, which are bow windows that extend to the floor of a curved wall. Arch windows are common in stucco style homes as they complement the curved lines of the architecture. Circle windows can also serve as an accent, especially on the top level.

French Style in-swing or out-swing patio doors are a great fit for this style of home. Add ventilating sidelites for more light and fresh air. These doors maintain the integrity of the design while ensuring a sturdy, functional performance.

Sapele Exterior DoorsI hate to discourage people from using Spanish Cedar because it is a great exterior use species, but I will be honest when I say I am confused as to why it is so popular right now. The alternative species I listed above are readily available, cheaper, superior weather resistance, and much wider and longer. Perhaps when our options were limited to North American Cedar variants, Spanish Cedar became popular because it is more resistant and harder, but Spanish Cedar has always just been a by product of harvesting other species like Mahogany. Now that by product has become too difficult to sell legally and it is just not being cut anymore.

Next time a project comes up and you think Spanish Cedar, consider some of the other species on the market and ask your dealer what they recommend. Many of our customers have made the switch away from Spanish Cedar and now they can get what they need without quality concerns and long delivery windows.

Windows-1252 or CP-1252 (Windows code page 1252) is a legacy single-byte character encoding[2] of the Latin alphabet that was used by default in Microsoft Windows for English and many Romance and Germanic languages including Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German. This character-encoding scheme is used throughout the Americas, Western Europe, Oceania, and much of Africa. Initially the same as ISO 8859-1, it began to diverge starting in Windows 2.0.

Although Windows NT supported Unicode and attempted to encourage programs to use it, it only provided the 16-bit code units of UCS-2/UTF-16. Due to issues relating to the interoperability of 16-bit code units in strings, many applications preferred to use 8-bit code pages, and Windows-1252 remained the most popular encoding on Windows even after it added support for UTF-16. Unicode support in Windows has improved over time, with UTF-8 support available starting in Windows 10.
