The album, titled "Love And Ka Dance", was released in 1979 and is considered a milestone in the history of Caribbean music. It features a fusion of disco, funk, gwo ka, and traditional Antillean rhythms, creating a new sound that would later be known as zouk. The album contains four tracks: "Kassav'", "Fascination", "Nouvel", and "Love And Ka Dance". Each track showcases the talents of the band members, such as Jacob Desvarieux on guitar and vocals, Georges and Pierre-Edouard Decimus on bass and drums, Robert Benjamin on keyboards, and Pierra Zamia on vocals. The album also features guest musicians such as Philippe Draï on timbales, Hatot on saxophone, Kako on trumpet, and Guizien on trombone.
