While TitanTV does not directly manage channel lineup data, it is our
goal to provide as accurate information as possible to our TV listings
users. If you are experiencing problems with your channel lineup,
please read below for tips on how to resolve the issue as quickly as
possible.
1) Verify that you have the proper lineup selected. Many of the
reports that we receive are a direct result of users not having the
proper lineup selected in the first place. Before submitting a
report, please verify that you have the correct lineup selected.
Another common problem related to this issue is users having an
"analog" cable lineup selected rather than "digital cable". If your
channel lineup is missing channels above "99", this is most likely the
case.
2) Report the issue using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of all
TitanTV pages. When submitting an incorrect/missing lineup report,
always include your ZIP code, the name of your tv provider (Time
Warner, Broadcast, etc) and as well as a description of the problem
you are having (can't find the lineup, missing channels, etc).
Each report received in this manner is entered into our issue tracking
system. Our data provider will investigate and (when needed) correct
the issue as quickly as possible. Please note that while TitanTV may
not reply to your report individually, it will be entered for
correction provided that you supply the appropriate information.
3) Manual lineup correction. Many of the lineup issues reported are
minor and can easily be corrected by the users without having to wait
for our data provider to do so. TitanTV provides a lineup channel
editor that allows you to easily add or remove channels from your
lineup along with other useful functions. This is very useful in the
case where your lineup is simply missing a channel that is important
to you, or in the case where you use an antenna and are able to
receive additional broadcast stations that TitanTV does not provide
automatically. To get to channel editor, click "Manage" in the
"Channel Lineup" section of the main toolbar and then click "Edit
Channels" for the lineup you would like to change. Note that this
functionality requires a TitanTV login and is not allowed for
anonymous users.
4) Finding missing lineups. If you are unable to find the proper
channel lineup for your ZIP code, it may be possible to locate the
lineup using a ZIP code from the surrounding area. This is
especially true in areas where lineups span a number of ZIP codes.
5) Dealing with empty lineups. In some rare instances, lineups can
get "orphaned" when they are removed or replaced by our data provider
resulting in a lineup that appears to have no channels (or only
channels added by the user). TitanTV attempts to automatically
correct this issue whenever possible, but there are some circumstances
where lineup re-selection is required. In this case, simply deleting
and re-selecting the lineup will likely resolve the issue.
