New Lineup: can't add channels from existing lineup

I've created a new blank lineup. I've tried to add channels to it
using an existing lineup. I can select channels in the popup window by
clicking, and the channel lines change to green. However, when I click
the final Add Channel button, nothing happens. I can click the Back or
Cancel button, so I know the window has focus, and that those two
buttons work. Any advice?
