Suggestion - Add ability to allow user to add additional category filters to capture specific shows.

I have a suggestion to add some functionality to the category filters
for listings. First of all, I think the current choices in there for
category filters are GREAT! But I have an example which hopefully will
explain how I'd love to see it work.
I was pulling up my listings for today, Sunday, 2/7/2010. I knew in
the back of my head that a mini marathon of MYTHBUSTERS were on today.
So, once the listings were up, I decided to 'filter' the listings by
Category. I chose "Documentary", expecting to see Mythbusters in there
(among other documentary type shows). But, it didnt work. No
Mythbusters shows came up. I then tried "Educational", followed by
"Comedy", but again, neither showed Mythbusters in the results.
I then turned off the filter, found the show, and realized it was
color-coded as "OTHER". That's not good. That kind of catch-all isnt
really specific enough. I looked at the show's description, and in
there, the show was described as "Investigative, Comedy, Mystery,
Science, Technology". Those are decent, applicable categories. But I
want to be able to filter my listings on any one of those categories,
thereby allowing my show to come up in the filtered results.
So, my suggestion would be to do one of two things. (1) Either add
these show categories to the listings filter, so that I can select
something like Science, or Investigative, and see MYTHBUSTERS amongst
the results... or, (2) create some kind of customization that would
allow a user to add Custom filter categories to their own Filter Drop
Down. I think the filter option has incredible potential (for example,
I think Titan is the ONLY site that allows you to filter by NEW shows
only. Awesome feature!) to allow users to further refine their
listings, and target specific show types quickly, and easily.
I suppose a third option (the easiest) is to set up Mythbusters as a
'Documentary' category show.
I'd prefer option 1 or 2 above, but anything along these lines would
be great!
