I hope everyone is doing well and are looking forward to the start of the Fall Season.  I wanted to give you an updated on the upcoming season for I have had teams with questions about not playing in the Fall.  This fall we will be moving forward with full 9 game Fall season.  With that said here are some points that will be adjusted for the Fall Season:

 

·        We will not be enforcing the uniform policy this Fall due to teams may not have full roster and roster may change a lot in the Spring

·        Standings for the Fall Season will not count towards the Spring 2021 season placement for divisions  (Any new teams this season, this will be a one season play and does not guarantee a spot in the Spring 2021 season)

·        Divisions may look different this coming season depending on the amount of teams that register

 

As a county we understand that some teams may not want to play this coming season due to the COVID pandemic we are facing.  We have already had teams express to us their concerns and have opted not to play this coming Fall season.  With the LCCL all divisions and some teams are based on how they perform the season before.  To assure that we help out teams that feel the need to not play this season due to this pandemic, I will be giving all teams from the Spring 2020 season one season to opt out of playing with no change in their division or having the teams to enter the lottery.  This means that I will be taking all teams that registered and where on the schedule for the Spring 2020 season and their divisions and assign them over to the Spring 2021 season.  All teams will hold their position in their divisions as long as they register their team for the Spring 2021 season.    This will be only offered for this Fall and any teams that choose not to play in the Spring 2021 and register to play Fall 2021 will all have to go into the lottery to be selected into the league and start from Division 3.    Teams that also choose not to play for the Fall 2020 season  please let me know before July 6^th and we will issue your team a full refund for the amount you paid for the Spring 2020 season.

 

All teams that will be playing this Fall that had been registered for the Spring, your registration fee has been carried over to the Fall season.  If you have new players that will be playing for you that were not on your Spring roster, you will need to fill out a change of roster from for the new player and removed player.  This change will also need to be made on your cricclub account once registration closes on July 6^th and before we start play on July 25^th.  

 

For those teams that are looking to play this Fall season we will be playing by the Play Smart model to help protect teams and players that are playing.  If we all do our part we should be able to play in a safer environment.  If you have any questions please let me know.  Again I hope everyone and their families are doing well and staying safe.  I hope I will be able to see some of you out on the pitch this fall.
