FYI - I just moved the 'refactor' branch has been pulled into 'master'. It's not to the point where I'd recommend using it to start an app (unless you're willing to help extend the framework) but it now represents the foundation for future development.
Please let me know of the README instructions are unclear. I'll work on improving the documentation in the near future.
