Due to our discussion about ANDAMAN tour - Many tourist organisers advice to go by flight only, because the ship will take 3+3=6 days for to and fro. And another 3 days at Andaman. So totally it will take 9-10 days. 

By FLIGHT charges around 6,500 x 2 = 13,000 /- ( 2 way )

Total of expense will be For Flight Rs:13000 +For Package Rs: 6000 = 19,000/- per head.

( 2 days for to Chennai by Train & Andaman by FLIGHT, Travel 2 days + 3 Days in Andaman = Total 5 Days )

By SHIP-Charges around 2,500 x 2 = 5,000/- ( 2 way )

Total of expense will be for SHIP Rs:5000 +For Package Rs: 6000 = 11,000/- per head.

( 6 days for to Chennai by Train & Andaman by  SHIP,    Travel 6 days + 3 Days in Andaman = Total 9-10 Days )

And another information... From 15th Dec. to 15th Jan 2013 is peak season time, and the package cost will be high at 15 %

Sightseeing Programme for 03 Nights / 04 Days Package

Itinerary (Port Blair)

 

Day 1: Arrive Port Blair 

Arrival at Port Blair in the morning by flight/ship & transfer to hotel. After that, visit the Corbyn’s Cove Beach - 9 kms from Port Blair - a coconut palm fringed beach, ideal for swimming, sun-basking & bathing. Then proceed for a leisurely cruise (Harbour Cruise) in a steamer along the Port Blair Harbour - which takes one to Viper Island. The gallows atop a hillock here is a sight to watch.

 

Day 2: Port Blair - Coral Island + Ross Island - Port Blair 

Start after breakfast for a full-day Excursion to North Bay (Coral Island) - to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fishes and other marine life. Optional Activities - Snorkelling, glass bottom boat ride, Swimming, Trekking + visit Ross Island - from where the Britishers' governed the entire A&N islands, prior to India’s Independence. This island is an ideal destination for nature walk amidst sylvan surroundings with deers, peacocks, exotic birds, etc.

 

Day 3: Port Blair 

After breakfast, start for a full-day tour of places in & around Port Blair (City Tour) - covering the famous Cellular Jail, Saw Mill (one of the oldest & largest in Asia), Anthropological Museum, Fisheries (Marine) Museum, Centre, Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika), Andaman Water Sports Complex (for water & adventure sports like water-skiing, boats, water scooters, tube rides, etc.) and the Cottage Industries Emporium (Sagarika) - for shopping & souvenirs. In the evening, attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail - where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive.

 

Day 4: Depart Port Blair 

Transfer to Airport/Harbour for return flight/voyage.

 

NOTE : Snorkelling Charges, glass bottom boat ride , Fun/Joy rides at Water Sports Complex & Camera Tickets are NOT INCLUDED in the Packages & has to be borne by the guests directly at the various places of sightseeing & tour.
