Thanks for Rahul and Prakash for taking effort to organizing the get-together as all of us expressed our desire in the first meeting itself. Now it is getting materialized.

 

It is indeed a good idea to have a get-together immediately after the convocation (on 7^th May 2009), so that we may felicitate the achievements of our fresh graduated students along with this get-together. We may continue this event every year, which may encourage our passing out students to associate with us in the future.

 

We may not ask any fees/ contribution from the passing out students. We may work out our budget and some of us may contribute more if there is any deficit in the budget.

 

There is also suggestion from SC Social Work professional from other social work colleges and schools to organize an “All India SC Professional Social Workers Association”. Some of them would like to join with us in this TISS SC Alumni get-together. I request all of you to comment on this.

 

Whether we should keep this event (get-together) only for TISS SC Alumni or we may include SC Social Workers from other colleges.

 

Good move. Hope we will defiantly do better things.
