the First MEET of SC ALUMNI

as you all may know that we are planning to have the get together by the SC( Scheduled Caste) Alumni.

here i am writing about the discussion we had between me and Mr. Prakash Gaikwad

we have decided the date and that is 25th April,2009. but again it's not the final date some people have suggested to keep it on the 7th or 8th May,2009 as it can give chance to the current final year student in TISS. they will be returning from their blocks only on 6th of may,2009.

 

we could roughly figure out the plan you people can suggest and make changes accordingly

 

• here we have assumed the no. of participants will be approximately 100.
• we will be booking two buses for traveling purpose each will consist 50 persons
• we have estimated for one bus, we will be paying around Rs 8000*2= 16,000/-
• Lunch : 100*Rs100= 10,000/-
• Tea and Snacks 100*2*Rs15=3000/-

 

so as per the estimated calculations the estimate budget comes as follows

 

• Travelling              Rs.16,000/-
• Lunch                   Rs.10,000/-
• Snacks and Tea    Rs.3000/-
• Miscellaneous         Rs.1000/-
• Total                     Rs. 30,000/-

 

as per the above estimate budget each person will be contributing Rs 500/- per head

 

i am pleased to inform you also that for the meet family members of participants are welcomed

and they can also contribute in terms of Rs 350/- Per Head

 

whatever money will be left out of the activity will be used for the SC Alumna's Next activities in future in very formal manner.

1. Felicitation of pass out students.
2. Get-together of TISS SC Alumni (Have food & fun, visit beach, etc)
3. Discussion on last meetings and future plans.
4. Support system for present students and applicants.
5. Establishing "All India SC Social Workers Association"
6. Any other 

If any one has any other agenda in their mind may suggest....
