Hope everyone is staying afloat this monsoon :). A friend (Ms. Devyani) is coordinating a conference on behalf of the University of Cambridge. The theme is 'Bodies, Objects and Knowledge From the Age of Empire: Global Histories and Beyond’, to be held at the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library in New Delhi on 16-17 December 2014. The invite is open to Indian graduate students to participate as audience (with travel and accommodation costs provided). I guess the intention is to encourage interaction between Cambridge and Indian students, as well as giving an opportunity to the Indian students to engage with internationally renowned scholars.
