This is to follow up our phone chat just now.

As you know, the Jeeva project (multi-site multidisciplinary study on
dais from both Public Health and Ethnographic angle) has finally got the
full funding from both AYUSH Dept, MoHFW and the ICICI Foundation for
Inclusive Growth (IFIG). We are now caught up in a flurry of
preparations for the inter-regional (central) orientation-training (31st
Oct - 5th Nov) and the field work.

However, as I explained, for the Maharashtra site we are facing a
problem in getting the senior research associate (SRA) to stay with and
lead the team. The job notice was up on Devnet but is no longer up. I am
attaching it and a note on the Jeeva project.

Since it is extremely URGENT now, it would be helpful if we could access
CVs of women researchers who may have already applied to TISS or other
research Dept or Institution. We received 5 such CVs like this from
Sathi-CEHAT, out of which 3 were appropriate for us but could not take
up this job. Several friends are on the look-out like this.

Please think and suggest how to find that person! ... I'm sure she
exists!!

Also, please send me Lakshmi Lingam's contact numbers. Any other
suggestion is welcome.

Thanks for your effort and time spent for 'Jeeva' at this critical
moment.

Best Diwali wishes,
Mira
