Moving out of a cocoon – a cosy comfortable set-up – that’s what it feels like!

In last three and a half years, I’ve become so used to running after the bus with the Blue Board and (inevitably) not catching it! Morning after morning! And this morning, when I finally caught it, I had the same mixbag of emotions that I have right now – excitement that comes with a dream chased and realized, a sadness that comes with a journey-well-traversed coming to an end!

In these few years , I’ve had my share of chocolates-n-cakes( Yup ! ) and have relished them to the hilt. A lot of green and red chillies were also a part of the cuisine but have been wise ;-) enough not to treat them like zilch , have tasted them with a promise to self to either not eat them again or to find easier access to water ! :-P

With all the neat and fine and worse and pinching experiences that I’ve had here, with all the tussles between RIGHTs and WRONGs , with all the doing this and missing that, with all memories of - writing the code ( yes ! I did some bit of coding too J ), talking on and off phone, sending Gurukul mails ;-), struggling to get the things right, justifying and not justifying, coffee breaks, extra super fun – I leave today !

This is strange because I can’t believe that I won’t be running and catching buses, won’t be flashing transport card to the transport guy, won’t be going through security check ( relief ! ), won’t be giving status updates ( ?? :-P ), won’t be in that corridor , won’t be on this desk !

I’ll definitely miss all this, a wonderful and supportive team, very friendly superiors, the plundering armies of treat-extractors, the friends for life that I got here, the fish in the pond, the fish in the cubicle ! But I’m glad, I won’t be someone who remained glued to a desk and lived happily ever after.I’ll struggle, I’ll fail , I’ll cry on the lost chances, I’ll find something where I can make a difference !

Am crossing fingers when I say , this is my last day in Infy ….thank you so much for all the help and support !
