Good evening!

ASCI is supporting the Govt of Odisha in planning and implementation of the national flagship programme, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in urban areas (110 nos.) through o/o District Collectors in 30 Districts of the state.  Urban Odisha needs to build 1 lakh shelter units for the poor every year for the next six years to meet current shortages alone.  While the building industry could meet this challenge on its own, it is imperative such shelter units are liveable and meet individual needs and aspirations.  Social and community consultations are a prerequisite to meet such needs and aspirations.  We are keen on engaging services of Social Development professionals educated in reputed institutions such as yours to help on this.
