Amystery case is a surprise of twelve bottles carefully curated by our winemaker with as much variety as possible from the broad library of Seven of Hearts wine, mostly red, but also including at most one white or dessert wine (please specify if you would prefer one or the other, or more than just one of these types of wine). This case will include a mix of relatively recent releases as well as rare library wines including Pinot Noirs and Big Reds from Byron's personal library (in some cases as many as just one bottle remaining) aged to perfection, and most with many more years potential.

The cost of this case is $300. When ordering this wine you will be charged a $25 non-refundable deposit. The remainder will be due on March 1st, 2024. Please note in the comments section whether you will be picking up at Luminous Hills or requesting free local delivery. Please understand that deliveries and pickups of these wines will take longer than usual for a variety of reasons outlined in the email you received with the invitation to participate in this sale. I want to caution that building and making the cases available to folks could take into the beginning of summer, although I will do my best to get most of them ready earlier, and will try to accommodate special requests for inclusions and delivery timeframes.

Myotonic dystrophy (dystrophia myotonica; DM) is an uncommon progressive hereditary muscle disorder that can present with variable severity at birth, in early childhood, or most commonly as an adult. Patients with DM, especially type 1 (DM1), are extremely sensitive to the respiratory depressant effects of sedative-hypnotics, anxiolytics, and opioid agonists. This case report describes a 37-year-old male patient with previously undiagnosed DM1 who received dental care under minimal sedation using intravenous midazolam. During the case, the patient experienced 2 brief episodes of hypoxemia, the second of which required emergency intubation after propofol and succinylcholine and resulted in extended hospital admission. A lipid emulsion (Liposyn II 20%) infusion was given approximately 2 hours after the last local anesthetic injection due to slight ST elevation and suspicion of local anesthetic toxicity (LAST). Months after treatment, the patient suffered a fall resulting in a fatal traumatic brain injury. Complications noted in this case report were primarily attributed to the unknown diagnosis of DM1, although additional precipitating factors were likely present. This report also provides a basic review of the literature and clinical guidelines for managing myotonic dystrophy patients for dental care with local anesthesia, sedation, or general anesthesia.

Black Crown is the 20th game installment in the Mystery Case Files series, the ninth and last to be developed by Eipix Entertainment due to their acquisition by Playrix. This is a direct sequel to 13th Skull.

The game begins with the Detective arriving at the Manchester Provincial Lunatic Asylum. They have been called there, because of an inmate drawing a Black Crown on the walls of her cell with a lot of cryptic symbols and imagines inside the crown. The Detective is welcomed by the Head Nurse Daphne Lorist and the Head Doctor Dr. Nathaniel Norton. Before meeting the unnamed inmate the Detective has to sign some official papers.

After meeting the inmate and solving the mystery of the Black Crown drawing the Detective realizes that the unnamed inmate that was sent to the Asylum from the States is Magnolia Blanston. She reveals to him the backstory of Phineas Crown and that the Black Crown is hidden in Crown's Estate near Devon. Due to loss of power and a critical situation with the inmates the Detective is forced to leave.

After tricking the dog who guards the main door of the estate the Detective enters the Manor and directly runs into Dr. Norton and Nurse Daphne who then inform him about an escape of the inmates who had fled to Devon so Norton and Daphne were forced to go to the Estate as well.

The Detective is able to locate the Black Crown quickly, but is stopped by Magnolia and the other inmates. After Magnolia took the Crown Phineas is able to return as a ghost to the mortal realms, because his spirit possessed Magnolia all along.

The Detective, Norton and Daphne barely escaped the inmates who now follow Captain Crown. Finally the Detective reveals a hidden passage that leads to an underground cave with a pirate town and one of Crown's ships lifted by a special mechanism to hang safe above the water. Unfortunately Crown was able capture the doctor and the nurse and holds them hostage. He forces the Detective to activate the mechanism to lower his ship onto sea level what the Detective eventually does. After the Detective also repaired Crown's broken golden sword it is revealed that Doctor Norton and Nurse Daphne were allies of the Captain and had tricked the Detective. The "official" papers the Detective signed at the beginning of the game were a contract for eternal service on Crown's ship.

The ship leaves the cave to the open sea and the Detective gets to know that Crown had obtained the Black Crown by killing a powerful voodoo priestess and that the Crown grants him immortality. The only way to stop Crown is by returning the Crown to the mortal remains of the priestess which unfortunately for the Captain he stored on his ship in the Captain's Quarters. To retain the Crown from Phineas the Detective receives an old voodoo doll resembling the Captain which was created by the original mutineers who tried to overthrow Crown and the Detective brings thirteen needles into his possession that belonged to the mutineers. After piercing the doll with the needles the Captain is weakened and the Detective able to place the Crown upon the bust of the deceased priestess which breaks the curse of Crown and sinks the ship. The Detective is nevertheless able to save Magnolia.

In the Bonus chapter the Detective is summoned back to Louisiana by Momma Aimee, the voodoo shop owner from 13th Skull. She has found out that Phineas Crown has created some kind of totems that contain pieces of his soul. She tried to destroy them, but was killed. The Detective finds the dead body of Momma Aimee and starts collecting all the items. He also comes into contact with some swamp creatures that the Captain created out of the vengeful spirits of former crewmembers. The Detective successfully destroys the creatures and frees the spirits. Then he finds an underground swamp cave where Crown celebrated dark voodoo rituals and stored the Skulls of all people he has once killed. After destroying the items he locates Crowns own skull within the dozen of skulls and destroys it.

Our brand new eco-packaging will break down the same as organic waste, leaving no harmful chemicals behind. Simply toss your case's packaging in your home compost or recycling bin and it will be broken down in just 12 months (compare that to the 450 YEARS that single-use plastic takes).

I made 60 extremely excessive versions of The Big Mystery Case for CAKE. They are hand-sewn, gold-foil stamped, with a two color screen print. Along with that, each copy has a miniature envelope in the back with a secret mini letter that has a mini stamp on it, and each letter is hand addressed. All of that is packaged in a custom bag with a 24-page mini comic called The Little Mystery Case. Each book takes me about 4 hours to make, which is why I will only ever make those 60 copies.

I teach book production at CCS, so I wanted to build a project around learning some new bookmaking techniques. In this case I really wanted to learn how to foil stamp. CCS has a healthy relationship with Book Preservations over at Dartmouth, and I wanted to take advantage of that. An amazing book artist named Lizzie Curran over there held my hand through the foil stamping process. I burned myself several times, but it was totally worth it. I also wanted to brush up on screen printing because it has never been my strong suit. Luckily Emily Parrish, a very skilled screen printer, was able to help me through that process, and I feel like I learned a lot that I can take back to my students.

But the craziness of the production for this book went beyond me learning new techniques. The story itself is drawn in a very pared-down, almost child-like style, and the content is equally unprofessional. I thought it would be interesting to juxtapose the unprofessional nature of the interior comic and the almost hyper-professional exterior production. I feel like the polished quality of the bookmaking brings something interesting to the experience of reading the book, and the silliness of the story brings a level of humor to the crazy production. I enjoyed playing with the antithetical relationship between the exterior and interior aspects of this book.

Using the power of comics to teach teens about the way our government works This Is What Democracy Looks Like, A Graphic Guide To Governance is a 32-page comic book created by The Center for Cartoon Studies (CCS). This short comic guide helps to bring democracy back to the hands of the people by explaining what democracy actually means and how the whole thing works. This guide will be a great jumping-off point to learn about our government.

Ravenhearst is the third game in the Mystery Case Files franchise. This was the first game to focus on a supernatural element as opposed to the very crime focused approach of Huntsville and Prime Suspects. This was the first game in the Ravenhearst story arc.

Rumors surrounding the history of stately Ravenhearst Manor have circulated for decades. The recently acquired diary of Emma Ravenhearst may hold the key to unraveling the tale behind this unsettling place, yet the pages are missing. Players assume the role of Master Detective to unlock secrets held within Ravenhearst , scouring a myriad of enchanting rooms in the manor for cleverly hidden clues. Locating and assembling diary pages helps tell the story of the house and, ultimately, unlock the mystery.
