My Fellow GSO Members:

As current Vice President of the GSO, I have learned a great deal about the power of our organization and its impact within Tisch and the greater NYU community. I am very proud of our accomplishments over the past year and the many new and exciting connections we have sparked amongst our fellow students. I am pleased about the impact of our grant award winners on the Tisch community and the fairness with which we made our selections as well as the great turnout at our many events throughout the year.

For next year, I'd like to continue the traditions set forth by our past members and continue to create a stronger GSO within Tisch by improved communication channels from the administration down to students, continued feedback sessions amongst departments to learn how we can better meet the needs of our community, and discover ways to create more interdisciplinary classes between the schools in Tisch. I will also strive to learn from our past endeavors and improve our overall communication and planning of events to ensure they are well attended and seen as a vital part of the school.

I truly enjoy our organization and its mission to sponsor events that help foster understanding, creativity, communication and collaboration. I would be honored to have your vote for me to take on the role of GSO President next year and continue our work going forward.

As the year closes, I'd like to thank Nick, Nara, Benny, and Anne for their hard work and dedication to the GSO over the past two years. You will be missed and it's been pleasure working with all of you! For those of you staying on next year, I look forward to another great year ahead! Thank you!

Sincerely,

--
