Hi GSO

Can you please reply back asap and let me know if there's a night that works for you all the week if May 7th to goto the Torch club  for dinner? We want to find a night that everyone can go.

Also, we need to act quickly and decide what's going on with our final mixer. I think it's safe to assume the Apple Bar isn't an option. I know Nick has been busy with his Thesis.
What about May 3rd, the first Thursday of May for a mixer in Reise lounge?

Finally, I also think its safe to assume we wont be co-sponsoring the relaxation day at this point. From the lack of responses, I assume everyone is knee deep in projects. Let's aim to work with Tusc early next semester.

Please reply with your thoughts and availability today so we can act quickly and set some dates.

Hi Everyone, (Please reply to this email with your comments..)

1. I have my final project on May 15th so that won't work. I spoke to Nick and we were thinking May 17th? Does that work for everyone? This can also be our final meeting for the year and a chance for us to tie up any lose ends.

2. Our mixer is Thursday, May3rd,  Any ideas for this mixer? We need to get out a flyer and information soon!

3. Don't forget that Tuesday, those of us who RSVPd for the President's award reception, we must meet at 3pm at the Kimmel Center to check in. 

Can we meet at like 2:50 outside Kimmel? What do you think the dress code will be?

(GMTWP folks, I've sent an email to our staff to excuse us from watching the thesis shows, if you are on the list to go)

4. Also, Nara and Ali, can you check if the Fly Room will still be presented in your department? I'd like to at least spread the word about that since we helped fund it.

5. Elections.. I've sent out my election information to the group. Ali, can you please send us your information?  Nara how should this be conducted?

Anything else I'm forgetting.. please chime in.

1. May 17th is when Dean Campbell is having a reception for graduating students which I'd like to attend if possible. I assume that may mean Jodi and Michael are also unavailable (and in either case they will probably be crazy busy with Tisch Salute the next day). Also, my dad will most likely be in town for commencement. The reason I suggested the Monday or Tuesday is because they're pre all the commencement activities.

2. I don't feel like we need to do anything crazy theme-wise since I feel like most people wouldn't notice there's a theme anyway. If anything just make an effort to convince people it's worth taking the time out of finals for. Either way, I won't be able to help out since I'll be in thesis crunch time as well as getting my apartment ready for my mom visiting.

3. Last year most people wore business casual type clothes, but there's no strict dress code enforced. I'm half-tempted to wear my "NYU Votes" T-shirt that has John Sexton's face on it and that calls him "JSex", just to see if he says anything.

4. I'm delegating this one to Ali since I'm very, very rarely at ITP these days.

5. Honestly, we just need to do some sort of official approval process, however informal it is. Last year I think we just did an e-mail vote where everybody sent their votes in to Jodi. And then she let us know that both Nick and I had won our uncontested elections... yay democracy...
