The Stock Hacker tool on thinkorswim can simplify the process of scanning for stocks you want to trade. After all, scanning the entire universe of stocks can be a resource-heavy process. The desktop version can handle it, but it may not be the best use of bandwidth for a mobile device (although that may change when 5G becomes the norm).
On the mobile app chart overlays like moving averages are not showing. However, lower indicators like RSI are visible. I checked the indicator settings to make sure visible is checked. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile app but it does not fix the problem
Right, so there is no way for the mobile app to recognize code that attempts to paint the color of the candles. The work around, as you have hinted, is the create an indicator that displays it in some other way.
I have experimented with designing mobile apps for Thinkorswim. I have found that even trying to dynamically set the color based on some condition is not possible. The mobile apps selects its own colors, just because.
Sorry, that is not supported in the mobile app at this time. This is what we call a secondary aggregation. Trying to reference a higher time frame a smaller time frame chart. You can do this in the desktop version but not in the mobile version.
TD Ameritrade was acquired by Charles Schwab in 2020. Integration between these two top-rated brokers is expected to conclude in 2024, with key features like the thinkorswim mobile and desktop platforms slated to be moved over to Charles Schwab. In the current review period, TD Ameritrade has continued to accept clients and a combined brokerage suite of features have yet to be announced. Details regarding the migration of educational content, certain user experience features, and other areas beyond thinkorswim are unknown. As such, Charles Schwab and TD Ameritrade have been evaluated as separate platforms. Investopedia looks forward to evaluating a combined platform in 2024.
The TD Ameritrade iOS mobile app Thinkorswim does not generate a 1Password entry point. You are forced to open the 1Password App and copy and paste your username and password. Is there anyway to get it to work with 1Password..?
