Dear all,

I am Zahra, a PhD student in applied linguistics in Malaysia. I am working on the role of weblogs on Tertiaary EFL learners’ writing development. In terms of collecting data, I would appreciate if any one can assist me in any way.

Best, Zahra

Welcome to the Workshop Zahra. It's nice to have grad students as well
as teachers here! I hope that some of our presenters and
participants will be able to steer you toward some useful resources
for your Ph.D.

I have a weblog for my online esl class, which is really more like a
study group than a formal class. What kind of data are you looking
for? I also maintain several non teaching weblogs, which might make an
interesting point of comparison on weblogs and writing development,
although other teaching / writing related weblogs might work better.
Just an informal observation but I have notice that my esl students
participate more and write more than the native speaker readers who
follow the other blogs.
