Informal or low stakes writing assignments: YES! MY STUDENTS LIKE
THESE BECAUSE WELL, THEY'RE LOW STAKES. BUT OFTEN THEY ALSO ALLOW THE
STUDENT TO LET DOWN HIS/HER HAIR, WHICH IS EVEN NICER.
Writing groups: HAVEN'T HAD MUCH LUCK WITH WRITING IN GROUPS, BUT THEY
LIKE PEER EDITING.

AWE
Word processing text analysis and checking tools: I TRIED OUT THE
TOOLS V SUGGESTED BUT WASN'T VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE RESULTS. LOTS OF
ERRORS WERE MISSED.
Peer editing: YES, DEFINITELY, ALTHOUGH STUDENTS MISS MOST OF THEIR
PEERS' ERRORS. STILL, IT BONDS THE CLASS AND THAT'S GOLD.
