Here's what I'm doing with the API:

http://ourdoings.com/2009-04-14

A couple things I'd like:
1. For URLs with anchors that have been tipped, don't HTTP GET the full URL with anchor.  I have a lot of /#616 in my request log now.
2. An option for me to specify a URL you hit to let me know to fetch new tips.

Hi Bruce,

Aweome! I'd love to hear how things progress.

#1 is tricky because some sites have used #anchors to differentiate
URLs to designate different owners. We don't poll a site after it's
owner is confirmed, so you won't be getting those requests for long.

#2 is a great idea, often requested. I'm still trying to think of a
safe & automated & efficient way to register and hit callbacks. For
now, I'd recommend just polling
http://tipjoy.com/api/#extracting_transaction_data

I'll ping the list when callbacks are available.
