Dear TIPCA members,
Thank you all for showing up at the recent TIPCA mass and socials on 6/8, it was a wonderful evening with music, dance and games organized by our Entertainment team - Sharon Dacambra, Karen Miranda and Sheryl Machado. We truly appreciate all their efforts in making the evening a great success.
We had a fantastic turnout with over 80 attendees. Since we did not have the opportunity to celebrate Mothers Day in May, we combined the Mothers Day, Fathers Day and recognition of our Graduates at this event. Also, since this was the last TIPCA mass that Fr.KK would be celebrating before his retirement on June 30, we took the opportunity to thank and acknowledge him for all that he as done for us and we presented him a small token of gratitude towards his retirement gift of $500.00 At the mass, Fr. KK gave a solemn and special blessing for the mothers/fathers and graduates. The mass Choir was awesome! Kudos to our TIPCA Choir!! We truly appreciate the efforts our Choir Coordinator Cynthia Soares has been consistently putting in to keep up the quality of worship through the music ministry during our masses.
Since we did not have any sponsors for the June mass/socials, TIPCA took the tab for the food and farewell cake for Fr.KK. Delicious Biryani and Raita was served with Jelebis and Mango cake for dessert.
Before we wrap for the summer holidays, here are a couple of events that you might be interested in attending. It is FREE!!. Complete details are available in the attached flyers.
1. Fr. KK's retirement party on Saturday, June 28 - Dinner and variety entertainment immediately after the Saturday 5.00pm mass. I would encourage you to attend to express our gratitude to Fr. KK who has been a wonderful shepherd to TIPCA all these years and contributed to its success and vibrancy.
2. Saturday June 14 - St. Anthony of Padua's Feast celebration by the St. Laurence St. Anthony of Padua Prayer ministry. They have been gracious to extend this invitation to TIPCA and so please do try to attend and enjoy the evening.
Would appreciate if you could RSVP asap via email (stell...@hotmail.com) so the appropriate organizers of these events could plan accordingly for the food arrangements.

- September Mass/Socials - September 14 (sponsored by our Mangalorean community)
- TIPCA Fall Picnic - tentatively October (longtime TIPCA members Mable and Titus Colaco will be sponsoring this event at their Animal farm). More details to follow later.
- Asian Mass - November 9, 2014 at 3 PM at Our Lady of Lavang Church, 2320 Old Foltin Rd, Houston, TX 77086
- The November Mass has been moved to December because of a date conflict with the Asian Mass on November 9.
- December TIPCA Mass/Socials will be on December 14. The Soares familyis sponsoring the Mass.
