Further to the obituary notification sent  this morning, here are the details for Vera's funeral service.

 

Wake

Wednesday, Feb 4, 2014 from 6pm to 830pm

All Peoples' Funeral Home

Funeral Mass

Thursday 10.00 AM followed by reception at St. Laurence Parish hall

St. Laurence Catholic Church

As we celebrate Vera's life, here are some of her favorite things.

Vera's Favorite Color - Purple

Vera's Favorite Flower – Sunflower

 

The family humbly requests yellow or green clothing for the wake on Wednesday and purple clothing for the funeral on Thursday (optional).

FYI...Vera will also be dressed in her favorite sunflower color dress for the wake on Wednesday.

As per Vera's wishes, a private cremation ceremony will be performed at a later time.

 

 

Vera Barretto - Obituary

We are deeply saddened to announce the demise of Vera Barretto (wife of Rodney and mother of Chantelle and Shania). May her soul rest in peace.

For those who are new to TIPCA, Vera was a past TIPCA Committee member who was very active, served TIPCA and contributed immensely to our community. Due to Lung Cancer her health deteriorated in the past three years but she courageously fought the battle till the very end and finally breathed her last this morning February 2, at her home in Sugar Land. Words are inadequate to express how much she will be missed.

 

We pray that the good Lord welcome her to His heavenly home and give the grieving family strength to bear this great loss.
