Dear TIPCA Members, 

Welcome back to our usual alternate months TIPCA mass and socials for 2015.

The start of a New Year brings with it new hopes and expectations, new goals and objectives — and, if you’re planning correctly — new challenges and opportunities. It’s always an exciting time to start fresh and reassess where we are going, as individuals and organizations. 

TIPCA's year commenced with the passing of our beloved Vera Barretto.  We pray the memories of Vera's life comfort the Barretto family and the rest of our TIPCA community who had become her family.

NEXT TIPCA MASS IS ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8, AT 4:30 PM 
 
The Mass will be on Sunday, February 8, at 4:30 PM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 12627 W. Bellfort Avenue, Sugar Land, TX 77478.  Fr. Santy will be celebrating the Mass for us.   Prior to the Mass we will say the rosary in the chapel starting at 4:00 PM.  Please be on time.  The Mass and Socials are being sponsored by the Souza family - Karen, Ryan, Kiara and Reesa.  Thank you Souza family for your generosity.  The mass intention will be thanksgiving mass for all the blessings bestowed upon them.

TIPCA DUES REMINDER:Please remember to pay up your membership dues for 2015 @ $40 for family or $20 for single membership at the upcoming socials or pay online per instructions given below or send your cheques made out to TIPCA to our new Treasurer: John Andrade, 1020 Brand Ln., Stafford TX 77477

Notice of Membership Increase Effective July 1, 2015 
The present annual TIPCA membership dues are $40 for a Family Membership and $20 for a Single Adult.  Adult children who live at home and have full time jobs also have to pay the Single Membership dues of $20 per year.  This rate has been in effect for the past several years. 
 

As you all know the costs have gone up everywhere and TIPCA's existence and sustenance is based on the membership dues received to offset the fixed expenses such as website fees, Hall usage for socials, priest stipend, sound system, janitor charges and so on.  Also at times when we don't have sponsors for some of the TIPCA Masses, TIPCA ends up spending for the food and other expenses for the socials.  TIPCA also sponsors youth activities programs, Annual Children's Christmas parties, gifts etc. free of charge!! 

 

Your Management Committee discussed this issue at their previous meeting  and it was decided that we will increase the membership rates. In order to ensure that TIPCA continues on a sound financial footing while continuing the present level of activities your Management committee has voted to increase the annual membership fees.  For the months where we did not have a Mass sponsor TIPCA would continue to provide the meals at no cost to the members, however non-members/guests will continue to pay $5.00 per person.   Annual Membership Fees will be increased to $50 for Family Membership and $25 for Single members.  The new rates will take effect from July 1, 2015.   

 

Members who pay their 2015 dues before July 1, 2015 will be charged the old rates of $40 for Family membership and $20 for Single membership. So please pay your 2015 dues asap so you can avail of the old membership rate.
 

TIPCA WEBMASTER UPDATES: 
We have just created a new functional website for our correspondence at 
www.tipca.com. 
Each member will need to join this website to access features for the Tipca group


To join, the website you will need to click the “Join Group” button on the top right of the page and fill in the required information.
 
Once you have done this, we will approve your access to the website and you should receive an email confirming this.
 

The new 
tipca.com website will be used for: 

1. Communicating the newsletter to our members. (We will use both the website and the google group until all members have signed in)
 
2. Event calendars
 
3. Event pictures
 
4. Paypal Payments for membership and events.
