So I have a z fold 4 and I have a pair of airpods, and when my airpods are dead because I forget to charge them I use wireless powershare, and recently more specifically today powershare won't work, as I'm typing this my phone is at 84%. So pretty much what happens is that I turn on powershare I put my airpods case on the back in my phone and for a few seconds it starts charging then it just stops and I get the error "wireless powershare has stopped working, try removing anything thats between the 2 devices like a case" and yes I do have a case for my airpods case that I removed before charging and it still doesn't work, and before you ask yes it has worked before but I haven't had to use it in a long time.
So I have a galaxy S20 ultra and having a problem with it charging wireless in my wireless car charger. At first I thought the charger might be defective or uncompatible with the phone. The charger works fine with my wife's S20+ but not the ultra. Also it works fine when I use both my wireless charger at home. The problem is it would charge then pause then charge then pause every 2 second. I tried turning fast wireless charging off and it still didn't change anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The phone fits perfectly. I have tried it with the case off and the case on still no luck. Tomorrow I will try using the wireless charger on the wife car since its the same as mine. See if there any difference.
Gotta get the actual charger for the s20. My newest wireless charger won't keep up with my s20 unless I close down every app and shut it off otherwise its like using a regular charger and says something along the lines of "this phone uses to much energy to wireless charge" in not so many words. You need to wait for the wireless charger to come out for the s20. The processor is using to much to keep up with the low wattage of your wireless charger.
I just received the wireless charge duo pad. The phone charges fine but i have a problem with the watch. It will start to charge and then it almost instantly thinks i've picked up the watch and it stop charging. The pad then has a flashing red light.
The fact it starts charging means i think i've placed it properly on the pad, but for some reason it quickly switches from showing the battery percentage to showing the smiley face when you normally remove the watch from charging.
Make sure you are using the charger/adapter and cable supplied with the wireless base as the bases will not work with all Samsung chargers and cable combinations . I have several different Samsung wireless bases, most seem to use the QC charge protocol doing the self test at 5 V then switching to 9V but one (older duo) will only start with Samsung AFC protocol then switches to QC2 at 12V after the self test. One behaves differently if the USB-C cable is plugged in the other way. The Watch 3 will charge on both my duo and trio on the watch pad spot. On my duo, my buds will charge on the watch spot and the phone spot but on the trio only on the phone spot.
I'm having the exact same issue. I purchased the pad because of the claim that it will charge your phone (Galaxy s21 Ultra) AND your Samsung watch. It charges the phone perfectly; my Samsung watch? Not so much.
I'm having an issue charging my S24 Ultra wirelessly, and sometimes wired. When I place it on one of my wireless chargers (all of which worked flawlessly with my S22+) it initially registers as charging but then immediately stops charging. I've had a couple times I've seen the same thing with a wired charging connection. Anyone else seen the same thing? Love the phone but being able to charge it is a must have feature.
It could be that this phone isn't fully compatible with the wireless charger you own or it's sweet spot to get a good connection between the phobe and charger is slightly different than that of your other phones.
I'm having the same issue on my S23 plus. It initially beeps and shows it's charging, then stops, the charging lightning bolt on the battery icon flashes for a while, then nothing. Battery eventually times out and turns off. It also won't work on my car charger and both my wireless charing batteries. All work fine on my S21 and my wife's Iphone 15.
I too am having this issue. I have 2 genuine Samsung wireless chargers that worked (and continue to work) faultlessly with my Note 10+. I was surprised when I awoke this morning to see the new phone (s24 ultra) on 4% charge. It looked to be charging when I put it on the charger.
Before the latest WearOS update, on my Watch 5 Pro as an example, you could reliably maintain a wireless debug connection to the Watch, now the bloody thing randomly disconnects, usually when youre halfway through debugging something, meaning you have to go back to the start, only to find it will randomly sever the connection AGAIN.
Its disconnecting in the middle of processes, sometimes in no more than 30 seconds after connection established - so im not talking about a beneficial (i forgot to disconnect) wifi disconnection which for some reason youre referring to, im referring to a productivity/development nightmare level of random disconnections
When I try to connect from my S21, my PC shows up on the list of devices to connect to I can select it, and I press 'Start now' . On the PC, the Dex app pops up, starts the animation, and says 'Samsung DeX is getting ready to start.
My PC is connected to both a Wired LAN and to the same Wireless as my Phone. If I disable the LAN DeX has no issues connecting, after which I can re-enable the LAN and have both DeX running AND my preferred internet speeds for other purposes (such as Twitch streaming etc.)
Hi @Aestolia Just checking that you have deselected the Link to Windows as you cannot have both Dex and the Windows link on at the same time for wireless connection. see some information here -galaxy-s21-wireless-dex
I'm getting the same results as before. I took some screens on the phone to better show my explanation.Link to windows OffSelect DeX on PCFound PC wirelesslyStarts to connect (DeX on PC shows connecting animation)Connection Fails (DeX Window on PC closes, but is still in system tray. No other error messages.)
I should note that it say no compatible PC found when it can't connect, but the PC almost immediately shows up again. As the PC doesn't have any connectivity issues itself, I don't think it's an intermittent problem with the WiFi.
I had the exact same problem the original poster described in. My computer was running a 5ghz wifi hotspot and was also connected to the internet via LAN. Had the exact same problem, S10+. I followed the steps in your post and that immediately fixed my problem. If anybody is comming down this thread, please upvote this comment as the proper solution.
Same story. You just have to select the "wireless TV or monitor" option instead. In my case, the phone even claims it is connected -- but the Wireless Display window just shows a swirling symbol and then disconnects after about 10 seconds.
I'm having the same issue with my new Galaxy S20 FE 5G, but the problem showed up when I last updated the phone (to One UI 3.1, I think). Before that my third party fast wireless charger worked fine. This is utterly unfair, I bought the charger after making sure it was compatible with the fast wireless charging of my phone.
How can I report the issue and complain about it? Directly to Samsung I mean, since I would like to have a confirmation of the intent of the anti-competitive and harming consumers behaviour, before reporting it to the competent authority.
Today my Galaxy S20 FE updated to One UI 3.1 and since then, the 3rd partry QI charger can't fast charge the phone. I receive a notification which says it's incompatible, and only slow wireless charging is possible.
As this was working fine before the update, and also works with my Note 10+ (which has not received One UI 3.1 yet), I can confirm that the incompatibility was made up by Samsung I think is not a software bug as this limitation is getting widely distributet with updates to multiple Samsung models with the latest One UI update.
In late 2000, Samsung created a special team designed exclusively to focus on wireless charging, and began extensive research and development. The goal was to develop a technology that was convenient and easy to use in order to promote and drive the widespread adoption of wireless technology standards. As they soon learned, several obstacles had to be overcome for wireless charging technology to succeed in the market, most notably the size and price of some of the most crucial components.
Their efforts finally paid off in 2011, when Samsung introduced its first commercial wireless charging pad for Droid Charge (SCH-i510) in the US. Two years later, the company launched a wireless charging cover for the Galaxy S4 as well as the S Charger, another wireless charging device.
Unlike previous devices, its new Wireless Charging Pad (EP-PG920) incorporated glass-like materials to match the aesthetics of the phone. It was also circular in shape, which made it easier for consumers to locate the center of the device, the area where the charger connects to the smartphone via an electromagnetic field.
Later that year, the introduction of the Fast Charge Wireless Charging Pad (EP-PN920) enabled consumers to more quickly charge their Galaxy Note5 and S6 edge+, while design enhancements allowed it to better blend into its surroundings.
In 2016, Samsung enhanced the wireless charging experience by presenting the Fast Charge Wireless Charging Stand (EP-NG930), a new, stand-type charger which let consumers more conveniently check their notifications or watch videos while charging their phone. It also featured two embedded coils which permitted the phone to be charged in either a horizontal or vertical position.
