I did a complete restore. As others have reported, I was not able to restore to the shipping version and boot - it went straight back to DFU. This is an iPad with cell data, they might have updated the firmware fort that.

Because one thing I noticed when I had Safari open and pulled up the dock, then moved the Files app over Safari (not into Split View, but on the right side) when I couldn't move Files by putting my finger on the top and sliding left, all I had to do was change the orientation and I could then slide the Files app across the screen, and when I changed back to my original landscape view I could still move the Files app about the screen.
To clarify, if this occurs, slide up the dock, and drag an application on to the miniature window, and hold there for a few seconds until the app opens. Then drag the new app to the side. Hope that helps!
On my iPad Pro Slide Over & Split Screen was not working after updaring my iPad to iOS 11. but thanks to this guide -view-and-slide-over-not-working/ and I fixed it by force rebooting my iPad and turning on Multiple Apps option
I have downloaded iOS 11 before the native release on my iPad. and I also having trouble of after installing iOS 11 Split View and slide over not working my iPad. but i tried given steps and easily get rid of on issue.
- Step 1: Go to the Settings app on iPad.
There are several different kinds of keyboards for PCs. The most common type is a physical, external keyboard that plugs into your PC. But Windows has a built-in Accessibility tool called the On-Screen Keyboard (OSK) that can be used instead of a physical keyboard.
Go to Start , then select Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard, and turn on the On-Screen Keyboard toggle. A keyboard that can be used to move around the screen and enter text will appear on the screen. The keyboard will remain on the screen until you close it.
Hover over keys: Use this mode if you use a mouse or joystick to point at OSK keys. The characters you point at are entered automatically when you point at them for a specified time. Use the Hover duration slider to adjust the delay.
Scan through keys: Use this mode if you want the OSK to continually scan the keyboard. Scan mode highlights areas where you can type keyboard characters by pressing a keyboard shortcut, using a switch input device, or using a device that simulates a mouse click. Use the Scanning speed slider to set a speed that suits your preferences. You can also choose any combination of the following options for selecting a key:
Use Text Prediction: Use this option if you want the OSK to suggest words for you as you type so you don't need to type each complete word. You can also select if you want to insert a space after each predicted word.
If you're using either hovering mode or scanning mode and accidently minimize the OSK, you can restore it by pointing to it in the taskbar (for hovering mode) or by pressing the scan key (for scanning mode).

Hi, have you already installed Widevine (see here: Wildvine missing on New Brave )?
If not, Netflix may not immediately recognize that it is installed, and will only display a black screen over time.
@bergerbse,
Sounds like this could be a hardware acceleration issue. Can you try disabling it and see if that helps?

Just got a second monitor for the purpose of having two tabs open at the same time to work on two drawings with only one session of ACAD2020 opened using windows 10. Being a novice at this setup, not sure if/how possible. I have the display setting at "extend these displays" under multiple displays. I can open separate sessions of AutoCAD in each monitor (workaround) and can have multiple tabs in each monitor opened. I want to be able to open 1 session with a separate tab opened on each monitor.
I have one session opened on the left monitor. If I reduce the window size and try to drag to the right monitor it only appears on the right in a reduced window in a reduced image. If I open full screen it only appears in the left monitor. I know I'm doing something wrong but don't know what?
Going to back all this up for a minute, to cover a few basics. All drawing windows must exist inside the application window. If you have multiple AutoCAD sessions running, each can have its own set of drawings open, and they are within the appropriate parent application window.
Each drawing has multiple layouts, usually shown as tabs. Any active drawing can only show one one layout at a time i.e. you cannot display both the model space and a paper space layout of a given drawing at the same time.
Hi! If you are using a Windows system, try opening one of your cad file. Once it's open, find the Autocad App in your desktop or in the start apps section, right click the icon/app then click "Run as administrator" then open a file on that window. Then you have 2 operating Autocad XD
I can get to the point of having two different acad sessions open separately in each monitor. My original question was if it is possible to have multiple sheets open (tabs) and then grab one tab (sheet) to the other monitor to see it. Apparently I can't.
Since at least 2007 and through 2013, MS office programs (Excel and Word to be exact) do not use tabs for multiple files, they open separate instances of the program windows. Test it, open a file, reduce the window to less than full screen but not minimized, open or create a 'new' file. You have two program windows. Excel gives added tabs as the bottom for added sheets, but these remain in the original file and file window. Autocad still use the old multiple file tab paradigm or the single drawing interface (sdi=1) similar to MS Office.
In previous revisions, Revit people had to use t he same t rick described here: stretch the Revit app across two monitors then tile the sheets and work here and look there. Autodesk spent the R&D and fixed this for Revit but not for AutoCAD.
Screen sharing during Zoom meetings is designed with a collaborative environment in mind. This feature gives only the users, who choose to share their screen, full control over their own screen and what other meeting participants can or cannot see. Additionally, meeting hosts cannot monitor your screen activities unless you choose to share your screen.
When you start sharing your screen, the meeting controls will move into a menu that you can drag around your screen.
Note: Some of the options detailed below may not be visible due to account admin restrictions or the feature is only visible to the meeting host or co-host.
Note: Ensure that the sound generated by the app you are sharing is allowed to be captured by non-system applications. Some apps may block sound from being shared for security and privacy reasons.
Note: Some of these options can be disabled in your Account settings, under Integrations. If you need to share your entire screen on an older version of Zoom, see sharing iOS Applications.
It got me thinking to a time when I'll be flying for work again soon, and would love on a plane to be able use my Quest as a USB-C monitor without having to install any software on my work laptop. Just whack it out, plug it in, charges and gives me an array of monitors. So I can work just like I'm in the office and ignore the world around me.
Hey KayTannee, we see you would like to use your headset as a monitor while you travel. That's a great idea! This is definitely possible with Oculus Link, however, you will need to install the Oculus Home app on your laptop in order to make it work.
I believe the issue here is that the Quest doesn't actually behave like a monitor, the way other HMD's do. You aren't sending video and audio over an HDMI/DP, you're sending information over a USB cable that needs to be decoded by the Quest. I believe the issue is that software is actually needed computer side for the computer to encode the data.
In this case, that's more of a self-imposed restriction by Oculus. You can send a full-resolution non-encoded video stream over USB-C no problem, and if I heard right, Pico Neo 3 can do this. VirtualLink was also the standard proposed to do this.
In theory I agree, but I am currently only able to use VR due to said encoding process, so it's convenient for me. My graphics card (2060 mobile) doesn't have a DP, so the USB C/ Thunderbolt port on my laptop isn't wired to the graphics card. I agree though, I look forward to having a new computer and hopefully improved performance with a future quest without the encoding/decoding process some day. I'm not prepared to get a VR set that requires external cameras, so as of now I'll be waiting on oculus.
So never had this issue before, but now Tarkov keeps opening on the wrong monitor. When it opens it also moves all the other windows I have open all over the place and sometimes goes crazy with the resolution. This worked fine before I downloaded the last small update for 0.12 and suddenly it changed.
