It is recommended you update your Asus Webcam Drivers regularly in order to avoid conflicts. Driver updates will resolve any Driver conflict issues with all devices and improve the performance of your PC.

With the popularity of zoom and software using webcams, it has become more important than ever to ensure that your Asus Webcam works. Problems with Webcams can be very frustrating but there is often an easy fix.

The first thing to check is your actual web camera. Is there something blocking the camera itself? It is usually somewhere on the top of your screen. Ensure there is nothing blocking the actual camera before proceeding.

To fix your Asus Drivers problems you will need to know the particular model of the Asus Webcam device you are having problems with. Once you have the details you can search the Asus website for your drivers and, if available, download and install these drivers.

If you are unsure of whether or not you need to update your Drivers, or indeed which Drivers may need to be updated, you can run a Drivers scan using a driver update tool (you will need to pay to register this tool but usually the Drivers scan is free). This will allow you to assess your Driver needs without any commitment. Alternatively, you can use the device manager to check if there are problems with any of your hardware devices.

In many cases the answer to this is yes, however in some cases the manufacturers no longer make the Drivers available so you need to use a Driver Update Tool to install the missing Drivers. The purpose of such as tool is to save you time and effort by automatically downloading and updating the Drivers for you.

A Driver Update Program will instantly resolve your drivers problems by scanning your PC for outdated, missing or corrupt drivers, which it then automatically updates to the most compatible version.

Note: The screenshots below have been mostly taken from a Windows 10 operating system. If you are using Windows 11, please be aware that the visual appearance of your screen may vary slightly, but the steps to perform the task remain consistent.

Under some circumstances, your camera may still act up after the related driver is up to date. To fix the issue quickly, you can launch Driver Easy, and click Uninstall driver next to your webcam driver, and restart your PC.

If you prefer to do it manually, you can uninstall the driver and delete the driver file from your system in Device Manager, and restart your computer to let the system reinstall the correct driver for you.

Restart your computer and the camera driver should be reinstalled automatically. If the camera is still not working, try to re-enable it by pressing the Fn and F10 keys at the same time.

You can scan for driver updates automatically and install them manually with the free version of the ASUS Camera Driver Update Utility, or complete all necessary driver updates automatically using the premium version.

Click the Update button next to your driver. The correct version will be downloaded and installed automatically. Or, you can click the Update All button at the bottom to automatically download and install the correct version of all the drivers that are missing or out-of-date on your system.
