I have just purchased Traktor Pro 3 yesterday, however when entering the serial number to activate the product, it only runs in Demo mode and will not install the full version. The prompt after entering the serial number states that it was successful but it simply does not unlock the full version.
check online under the "my products page" if you see it there. Normally if the key was once accepted and you try again it should print "serial already registered" or something like that. Maybe you can add the os you use.
i can see Traktor Pro 3 under my products , i can also find the Serial number there. in Native Access i can install traktor 3 Pro , but when the installation is finished it shows up as "demo". When i start traktor 3 Pro in always starts up in demo mode with the option to buy / actived it .
It used to be white and just recently its orange with s4 mk3 plugged in? Now every time i open traktor with s4 mk3 connected i get a pop up (activate device) asking if i want to switch audio to traktor kontrol s4 mk3 ?
As for the 'Audio indicator' icon, it was all to do with my MacOS using Traktor S4 MK 3 as its sound card. As soon as I changed MacOS to use 'Internal Speakers' this was the result and both became white again...
Change the DECK LAYOUT - MISCELLANEOUS - COLOR MODE from x-ray to spectrum (or the other way around), but ultimately it sounds like you need to reinstall Native Access and do an update so your software is registered again. Failing that, re-install Windows.
It's not unusual to get a pop-up asking if you want to connect to the onboard soundcard of the s4, what is unusual is for the indicator to stay orange if you do. There might be a problem with the driver.
All outputs and dedicated volumes work fine if I select internal speakers or s4 mk3 in Mac sound output settings. Selecting internal speakers turns audio indicator white and selecting s4 mk3 turns it orange.
However, when I'm at home, for example, I want Youtube and anything else I play on MacOS to come through the S4 master, in that case, when you globally select your MacOS system sounds to play all sounds through the S4 soundcard, you'll see an orange indicator.
I am also having this issue, had to update to Ventura to install the new version of native access and then was able to upgrade traktor pro 3 and other software, entered and registered the serial number and said successful but not showing up in settings of traktor. Lights up the screens when pluged in to usb but then goes black and only lights are the 3 lines for the mixer button.. not able to set up at all ??
Hello, I have a new macbook pro pc, m2 processor, used with traktor pro 3.9 090, when I load four songs in a row without analyzing the program it closes completely, it also closed using it with songs previously analyzed and loaded directly with the program, I am using a cable of Oyaide data. What's going on???
Hello, I have simillar problem please any solution? I use m2 macbook pro 14 inch and the traktor keeps crashing at random times, I cleared all music that maybe corrupt files but the program keeps crashing without any notice. I changed the sample rate and did many changes to see if anything changes but none. It crashes while I am working at the club and I am frustrated.
Payed the upgrade since i'm a Traktor user for more than a decade, I've already changed the linking cables, even aqquired new ones, tested a complete restoration of the installation software and even the OS, but it keeps happening and i'm starting to loose patience with what used to be a bulletproof setup.
All songs have been analyzed and are of high quality. They are not corrupted. On any other computer they work correctly. I have a Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3 controller and an S3. Updated to the latest firmware version.
Are these any specific tracks that cause Traktor to crash when you load/analyze them? It is not necessarily related to the tracks being corrupted but could possibly be due to Traktors handiling of the files. If you could share some tracks from your collections that you can remember Traktor crashing during their playback or analysis that would be very helpful.
I have restarted and immediately played again the track that was playing during the freeze, and it then played without any issue. Seems a bit random. I might have been using the preview player with another track and perhaps previewing that track might have triggered the freeze. Pitty I can't remember which one it was, so cannot test this theory. Yet.
Other crashes happen doing different things. For example, one of the latest freezes was triggered when I deleted a history playlist. Same thing, program unresponsive and music stops after a few seconds. Have to restart. That time the program hung during Flushing Background Tasks phase. I had to force quit.
For me, crashes have happened mostly wile playing with the S4Mk3. On the other hand, I had the program open for about 8 hours and nothing attached, just setting hot cues and creating playlists, and there was no issue. During that session I did attach an X1 Mk2 for a couple of hours to help set the hot cues, and still no crashes.
I personally think there is an issue with Mac OS on M2 that is causing it but Native needs to find it and fix it before they loose thousands of customers to Pioneer.......I love Traktor but can't chance it at a real gig anymore.
It would be heartwarming to get someone from NI to respond to this or the other threads with a "there seems to be an issue and we are looking into it" stance instead of radio silence or random ineffective advice. With a bit more integrity and honesty, we could have a unified post or conversation and those affected and participating users could further act as testers and perhaps create a more productive environment for the trial, documenting and solution to this dreaded issue. And that would surely help immensely to give comfort to us who each week launch Traktor in front of live audiences with the fear and uncertainty of exactly at what moment it will fail. The Apple silicon generation is about 3 yrs old now and there is no native stable version of Traktor yet. I dunno if this issue is affecting some or all M1, M2 users. But it surely is affecting many. After 3 years since introduction the Apple silicon userbase should be quite relevant. All I want for christmas is a stability update that brings peace and joy back to our workplace, and the rest of the development timeline can eventually roll in whenever ready. Please, please at least respond with a "we're looking into it" sock stocking.
I have or rather I had on my mac traktor scratch pro 2 and unfortunately after having format my Mac I can no longer find the software despite purchased it with the complete package and seeing it in my native instruents account complete with serial number, but on natives Access is not possible to download and even after sending several emails to the Native Instruments Services Center I have not solved the problem and no solution.
After many years of not using Traktor Scratch Pro 2 ver 2.11.2 11 on my 2014 MBP 12,4, I finally tried using the app. It opened and I had 3 options: Demo, Buy, Activate. I tried to activate through Native Access since I still have the TSP2 serial number paid version and that didn't work. I googled the issue and this forum popped up. I guess I'll upgrade to Traktor Pro 3.
My laptop broke up, and I bought a new HP laptop and downloaded traktor pro 3 and the new traktor plus, but the software shows me only the DEFAULT LAYOUT, i can't see the other ones, i usually use the mixer one.
I'm having problems getting the music i downloaded on my apple music account to work on my traktor dj library I'm not sure if i have the path wrong or if apple changes the format of the download. but it just keeps saying this file can not be played can anyone help me or has any one experienced this problem also.
I DJ using the Traktor S4 and I thought I was having this same issue but eventually figured it out... There are a couple reasons why you won't see songs you purchased and downloaded from iTunes and it has NOTHING to do with the DRM that people are talking about if you purchased the song...
1) iTunes creates a second "Music" folder in the iTunes Folder for the songs that are downloaded if you already have a "Music" folder in the "iTunes" folder... I found this because the storage on my external HD was not adding up right... Now I have tried to fix this issue by combining the one folder so I only have the one "Music" folder and everytime I update my library iTunes reverts it back so when I have my Traktor files open I always have to go into "iTunes Music" folder, then "Music" and then into the second "Music" folder.
2) If you don't have the music you purchased downloaded to the laptop you are using with the Traktor software or an external HD connected to the laptop you won't have access to the music because it is still in the Cloud or the device you purchased this on... This becomes VERY HELPFUL though I learned and here's why...
When I DJ an event I keep iTunes Store open on my iPhone and in the background on my laptop if someone requests a song that I don't have... I will order the song from my iPhone, once I purchase the song the iTunes which is open on my laptop will pickup the purchase and DL the song to my external HD and the folder will up date and the song will show up within a minute or so in the folder on Traktor once the folder refreshes.
3) If you are paying for an Apple Family Membership and looking to access the iTunes Streaming library at this time we cannot access that music which is a total BUMMER it sometimes stinks having to buy music if you may only play it once... I WISH they would change that access.
4) If you buy your music from iTunes make it a habit to open your Traktor software the night before your gig and make sure you iTunes library is up to date and all of your recent purchases have downloaded.
