I did already installed that driver, and also more old versions of it, but the installation fail, a message say me the sofware is not right for the device.
After, if I try to uninstall and auto reinstall the Audio device in device manager list, some files are loaded, are open a dos windows saying the service are starting, but show starting failure.
In the detail of device is showed an error code 10.
I did run this software and followed instructions. Interestingly CrystalDiskMark utility showed read/write speeds of Gigabytes per seconds. But in actual test of copy a file from windows explorer (from internal SDD) to this HDD(external read/write values remained same as around 100MB/s.

I don't care that much on prefetching data. My main reads are loading the OS (un-cached), loading Eclipse (once a day, always-on then), launching and closing several Firefox/Chrome windows and tabs (could be cached, but Windows keeps the programs in memory, so irrelevant).
I care a LOT about writing data.
I've been having issues with recent releases of Firefox on my M1 Pro MacBook Pro at home and my 10th Gen i5 Windows laptop at work. Both are have 16GB of RAM. The best way to describe it is that Firefox is sluggish, There is a good 1-2 second delay when switching to other open windows or from another application back to Firefox. I do have 200+ tabs open (yes I know that isn't great) but most are suspended/unloaded. It was never this bad on my old 2012 i7 MacBook Pro (16 GB RAM). Almost all the other tabs are suspended and not loaded and active. Sometimes clearing the cache helps. Any thoughts?
