Screen recordings are automatically saved to your photo library in the Photos app . To see all of your screen recordings in one place, open Photos, tap Albums, then tap Screen Recordings below Media Types.
I have been using an iPhone 13 Pro Max for about a month now, running on the latest iOS version 16.1.2. While playing PUBG in 90 fps, If I start screen recording, I face gyroscope delay and touch response delay. However, if I turn on the Guided Access, those delays no longer occur but with guided access on, I am facing fps drop, specially while touching/swiping the screen. Clearly the device is not giving 90fps when guided access is turned on. Can anyone please give me a solution to that?
Hi, I'm having same issue. My iphone 13 pro max's the fps drops when i do screen recording or ON Guided access after install IOS 16 . Apple is trying to make us fool destroying old phones updating new IOS updates. so they want us to buy their new lunch phones so they can make more money. This is shit. Same on You Apple. we are not fools. Please fix this issue ASAP otherwise i will file case against you. be aware.
My screen recording is turning on by itself without notifying or appearing on the top screen. Caught it twice when i swiped the screen down. It was blinking red. Swiping down the screen is the only way I would know. Once i tap that blinking red, it stops but no recording goes to my gallery. Is my phone being secretly remotely recorded? Or is this a glitch? What should I do to stop this? This is so bothersome that our privacy maybe invaded.
The good news is, there is not a way to have someone remotely access Screen Recording. When you swiped down on the iPhone display, where did you see something blinking red? See if it continues after you restart the iPhone: Restart your iPhone.
My problem is (this started after I updated my iPhone to iOS 13) my screen recordings don't have any audio when I import them to Final Cut Pro X (10.4.6). This is very weird because the audio is there when I watch the screen record on my iPhone or on Mac with QuickTime. But when the video goes to FCPX adios's disappears.
I installed the new Final Cut Pro X update (10.4.7) but it made no difference. This is really annoying problem. I can't figure out what is causing this. The uploaded screen record is fine when running on QuickTime but in Final Cut the sound is suddenly missing. Weird stuff...
Just tried to import via USB-Lightning cable and audio is there in FCPX! I don't get it! Need to do this now with wires. I thought Apple wanted to us to be wireless but iOS 13 messed something up. Well, maybe I can use AirDrop again for this purpose too some day.
I can clearly hear the sound in the videos when opening them in Quicktime on my Mac but as soon as they are imported into FCPX, the sound is gone. It's so frustrating having to take the extra step and use Handbrake just for some sound.
so I was having this same issue but I figured it out. may be a supper annoying approach but it does work. I found to import the file to iMovie on your phone, then just export it and airdrop... I don't know why but it worked.
I had a very important FaceTime call today that I needed to save to go back to later, so I screen recorded it. I triple checked that my microphone was on, and tested it before the call with another screen recording. However, after I recorded the call and went into my photos to watch it, there was no volume. This was a really important call and I am very disappointed in the audio not recording as it had earlier. Is there any way to get the audio back?
The microphone is automatically disabled on the built-in screen recording when you are using any type of communication services like the Phone, FaceTime, or Skype. So no, unfortunately there isn't a way to recover the audio.

We are only using the app to cast and record from the headset. We have the option to record the player and the oculus screen at the same time, through the iPhone app on all iPhones apart from the iPhone 14. Someone else has posted about this exact issue on the forum already

When you want to show off a new app feature you're experimenting with or need to share a looong conversation with a trusted group of friends, it's better to record a video. If you have an iPhone, recording your screen can be done in a few simple steps. Here's how.
Tap the Screen Recording button which is the circle icon of the recording symbol. Once you do this, you'll receive a three-second countdown. You'll know your iPhone is recording when there's a red dot at the top of the screen.
Now that your iPhone is recording, navigate to what you want to record. Whatever action you perform on the device is being captured, so essentially your iPhone records what you see. To stop recording, tap the red dot at the top of your screen, and then tap the Stop button to end the video.

To turn on screen recording go to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls. Scroll down and tap the plus icon next to Screen Recording.
You should now have access to screen recording in your Control Center.
If you use zoom mode on a newer iPhone or iPad, you may want to turn it off. If you leave it on, you will not capture the full resolution possible. Using an iPhone 6 in zoom mode, for example, generates a recording at 1136 x 640 instead of 1334 x 750.
Why? Because the music will compete with your narration. Instead of recording the music in real-time, you can record the sound effects and import the music later into your video editor as a separate track.
Capturing is intensive and requires a lot of system resources. This is especially true if your device has a limited amount of storage. To make sure you get good performance during capture, close all other apps, including anything running in the background.

i'm attempting to record the screen and the audio during a meeting on a mobile device. I'm using the virtual background effect with green screen to show my logo. Then tried to start a meeting and record myself thru screen record . As soon as I started the meeting the audio gets squashed. I can still seen video and the background, but no audio gets recorded. I used many other apps to see how the speakers and microphone work and no problem, When I start the screen record before opening the zoom app, the audio is clear and normal, once the meeting starts no audio, once I end the meeting the audio returns and is recorded as normal. I have a basic account???
Within the Control Center settings you can also set up the camera, torch, timer, and many other functions of your phone to be available at the swipe of a finger. If you have Screen Record on your Control Center, you are only ever a swipe and a tap away from taking a quick and easy screen recording.
