This is a reminder that the Tioga Local Food Group will be meeting tomorrow, August 8th at 9:30am in the auditorium at 56 Main St, Owego (CCE/County building) to hear about a few different local food distribution models we are considering using here in Tioga County. We really need both producers and consumers at this meeting to learn about the different models and give input about which aspects we think will and will not work for us.
I hope you can make it. If you are one of the people who has expressed interest but cannot attend, we will keep you posted and schedule another meeting soon. If you have not yet let me know that you are interested in this project, please do so I can make sure you continue to receive updates about it. If you have questions or input about this project, please feel free to email them to me and I can pass them on to the group.
Please pass this information on to others who might like to attend this meeting. If you can let me/us know if you will be attending, that would be appreciated but please feel free to come even if you haven't responded. Thanks!
