I didn't find "Default" or "Global settings" For the button shortcuts to make it just follow the global settings. Am I missing something? As I remember we had such option in the previous options app.
logitech options plus download
I tried Solaar and piper they both didnt work at all , then I tried something called "easystroke gesture recognition" basically its Logitech options on steroids , you have much more options and you can custom everything and it can be used on any mice.
The package solaar works great, I just had to unplug and plug back in the dongle after running the program for the first time, then wait about a minute for the UI to show available options, and finally turn off the Swap Fx function toggle button (had to press the lock icon twice to unlock the option):
As for the Logitech Pebble Mouse 2 and Pebble Keys 2, they are successors to the brand's compact and affordable PC accessories. The updated variants feature silent keys, multi-device Bluetooth connectivity, personalized function keys, a compact design made of 45% recycled plastic, and pocket-friendly sizes. The Pebble Mouse 2 is available for $29.99, and the Pebble Keys 2 will set you back $39.99. Color options include Tonal Rose, Tonal White, and Tonal Graphite.
I have Catalina and M720 Triathlon mouse and exact the same problem. The newest Logi Options won't help. What I noticed though is that I don't need "to change them and set them back every to for the settings to apply again." Just restarting the Logi Options app fixes it.BTW the settings are kept even if you close this app.So selecting "Open at Login" in the Logi Options dock icon's options also assures it works after the reboot.
I have been using a M557 for the last 2 year gem of a mouse never an issue. I bought a M590 yesterday (multi device silent mouse). This mouse has the exact same problem you guys explained above. Tried a bunch of options didn't work. As someone suggested above, opening logitech options s/w solves the issue, but do not want to keep doing it. I raised a ticket with logitech.
The new offline installer (1.42 version) will be available from the 24th May and we will update the FAQ here with the latest version for them to download: -us/articles/10991109278871-Logitech-Options-Offline-Installer
This version will include 2 features and a couple of hotfixes:
Upgrade features - so that ITDM is able to remotely update options+ from 1.30 to 1.42 and all other versions after that through SCCM, InTune or Jamf. Users will not see the update and users will not be interrupted during the update either once the ITDM deploys a new version to computers.
Features that require internet connection - there are a couple of areas that we will be hiding within Options+ that require an internet connection to function: Logi ID, Analytics, Backup and Restore, and Flow.
Bug fixes are mainly for SCCM remote deployment of options+, in version 1.30, there was an issue with SCCM extracting the files and so in some cases the deployment failed. Plus we have resolved multiple hangs and other minor improvements.
Why you don't just rely on the available offline versions when it comes to upgrades and make the from logitrech public available versions available in the PMP Catalog? So you never have to care about getting the installier setup files from Logitech. If they aren't available, you can refer customers directly to logitech... Do you already have at least 2 versions of the offline installer to test the update?
Even though a USB stick is not supposed to it might also claim to be a HID keyboard and issue commands as you. In the case of a keyboard/mouse dongle, this would not even appear to be suspicious; it already is a keyboard. Think start+r -> "\\?\volumesomething-logitech-hardcoded\autorun.exe"
The Logitech driver is installed by windows 10 when the mouse is attached. In this driver then triggers the download of the logitech options software directly from Logitech. Same happens with HP printers when they are attached locally.
Apparently, this is a known issue and has a fix for windows:

i think the problem is the mousedriver "inside" your vm. "Special keys" often not run as expected. It is a generic driver/emulation through osx/usb etc. Did you install the logitech mouse driver in Win7?
I didnt install logitech drivers in win 7..only on the Mac side. I didnt think back/forward were considered "special keys". The button on my mouse that shows all open windows works in win 7..I would think thats a special key. I also have a bootcamp partition running Vista and the logitech drivers work fine there. Can you install logitech drivers in the VM partition? I dont want to screw things up. Joe
