Ihave the very same problem. Some of interapp tracks do not play, sometimes play. There is no change in adjustments but it happens mostly. The normally played interapp tracks never be a problem but the other problematic interapp tracks always cause problem and do not play. But rarely play???

just updated ios 7.03 on my ipad 3, also updated garageband which I have bought a year ago. When trying to use the new interapp audio feature there is nothing else to choose in instruments than the instruments i used to have before. Do I have to remove the app and restore my purchase? Or what to do?

I also have this issue. I'm just downloaded the app in ios 7.03 (11B511), and purchased the in-app upgrade. I have followed the instructions per a tutorial, but in my version of GB there is no screen available for inter-app, I pan through instruments, and the screen is not there. I have apps that have this feature, so something should show up. I have Ipad2 model MC979LL/A. The app works well, except for no inter-app option. I have re-installed, and reset the ipad. Is there some setting I have not engaged to make this work?

Thanks Mc.D, I see now that the inter-app icon only appears once you have compatible Garageband apps. I still however do not see a way to purchase and download the the additional Garageband instruments? Has anyone figured out a way to do this?
